EarCheck Monitor Review and Giveaway

We have all been sick around my house. My boys are better but now I'm starting to feel under the weather. Ki and Jackson both had a bad cold that left them very congested. Ever since Ki had his first ear infection when he was a baby, I have been a freak about trying to prevent them. Mostly I just make them sleep with their heads propped up at night. The one thing that drives me nuts though, is that I never have a way of knowing if they have an ear infection. Especially when the boys were babies. Since they were too little to tell me I just had to keep bringing them into the doctor whenever I saw them pulling on their ears.

So with this battle of colds something came in the mail at the perfect time. I think it was fate... We received the EarCheck Monitor from Earcheck.com. I seriously think that this is a must have for any mother. As soon as I received the EarCheck Monitor I used it on Ki. His first reading in one of his ears was a level 2 so that indicated we should monitor him. The next day he was feeling better and his reading was a 1 which means that fluid is unlikely.

I love how easy this gadget is. When your child is sick the last thing you need to do is figure out how to work something. The other thing that I liked is that the results are very quick so your child is not uncomfortable. This is a great peace of mind for any mother with a sick child. It can save a trip to the doctor and a copay! Since I am not good at explaining medical stuff.. below is a video on how the EarCheck Monitor actually works.

If you would like to win an EarCheck Monitor for yourself, please leave me a comment telling me why you would want to win this. Also in case you haven't noticed there is a new way to gain an entry for a total of 7 possible entries!

  2. My daughter gets frequent ear infections. When she starts to complain of her ear hurting, it's always frustrating trying to decide if it's time to take her to the dr. yet. I HATE paying the money to have them tell me it's just a bit of fluid, no infection yet, but keep an eye out cause you may have to bring her back in a few days! But I hate the thought of her suffering too. Ugh... This would save the hassle, worry, and money!!

  97. I sure could use this, last year my son even though he's in his 20's. He does drywall work and never new that he had a blockage of dust in his ears and fluid had built up, he had no pain until he went swimming and dove deep down, well the pressure made his ear drum rupture, which meant a emergency trip to the hospital and today he still has problems with that ear and has to have drops put in.
Since my kids love to swim and get water in heir ears, which I have heard can promoe infections, also my teenage daughter is always cleaning her ears, I worry about her having ear problems.
Thank you for the chance to win so that I can keep all my family ear problem free.
