If you haven't noticed a pattern by my reviews lately I have been bitten by the workout bug! I figured if I could find a product that is fun that I might be more motivated to work out (what a novel idea!). When I saw Hoopnotica on another blog I felt it calling to me. Memories of my childhood came flashing back of when I use to play with a hoola hoop and had such a blast.
Now I can have the fun and get a workout as well. Hoopnotica is so much fun! Now don't get me wrong it isn't super easy like you may be thinking- like I was thinking! It provides enough of a challenge for me but not too much that I feel like giving up. My husband watched me as I was doing the workout for the first time. He sat on the couch and at times he laughed at me and other times he said I looked like I really knew what I was doing.
Here is some info from Hoopnotica :
"Celebrities such as Marissa Tomei, Liv Tyler, and Beyonce are finding a slimmer, sexier,
and more toned version of themselves in the hoop. Ryan Seacrest of E! News describes
Hoopnotica as “Part dance, part exercise and ALL fun”.
Hooping is as simple as spinning a weighted adult sized hoop rhythmically around the
waist.

ReplyDeleteI am trying to lose another 15 pounds and maybe this can help me. i like that it can help relieve my stress. Thanks for the chance.

My fitness goals are: to lose 15-25 pounds (which would put me in the 'healthy' range of what my weight should be, given my height and age), whittle my waist to less than 30" around (which will significantly lower my risk for diabetes), and achieve overall tone and tightness in my body (especially my midsection, which has always been soft and flabby). What I find most exciting about Hoopnotica is it seems like virtually anyone could do this. I'm always intimidated by the fear that I'm using a piece of equipment wrong, or doing a workout regamine in a way that's actually damaging me...but Hoopnotica looks like pretty easy and straightforward of a workout, and difficult to damage myself by doing wrong. :)

I love hooping and would be thrilled to win this. My current fitness goal is to be more gentle on my body. I've been running, biking, and just MOVING a whole lot, and I think I overdid it. I have some hip pain and so am turning my exercise mostly low-impact. That means that I've picked up my hoop and started spinning! What I enjoy most about Hoopnotica is the systematic way the DVDs are laid out, so that I can watch a section, then go and work on it on my own for a while.
